- 9 May 2026, Vancouver Island Trail Running Series – Lake Cowichan
- Join us as volunteer, spectator, or even as participant for the second time the great Vancouver Island Trail Running Series visits the Fairservice Fun network and Lake Cowichan. Details for registration, routes, and video preview are available on the event site.
What to bring for trail building
We try to provide tools, gloves and other equipment needed for trail building. However at a minimum you must dress appropriately for the weather and wear rugged hiking shoes, or gumboots during the wet season. We also recommend to bring your own drink and snack, if desired. If you have tools you prefer to use, you are also welcome to bring your own rake, clippers, pike, shovel, or even brush cutter or chainsaw.
