Building trails on private forest lands would not have been possible without the generosity of Mosaic Forest Management. The company has supported Cowichan Lake Trail Blazers Society by entering into a land-use agreement on its Fairservice Main and Christopher Rock properties and has also provided seed money for tools and trail-building materials. To show our appreciation, we presented an artistically carved wood plaque to Mosaic representatives, Pam Jorgensen and Molly Hudson, at our recent Trail-building Workshop. CVRD Representatives Klaus Kuhn (Area I) and Ian Morrison (Area F) and Lake Cowichan Mayor, Bob Day, were on hand to recognize the occasion.
